Jackie Buck, PhD, RN, NE-BC, is the administrator of health system nursing quality, research, education and evidence-based practice (EBP) at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (WMC) and clinical assistant professor for the College of Nursing. She has oversight in these areas across the health system. Her professional background encompasses maternal child health, nursing administration, and nursing education. Previously, Jackie served as director of nursing for the WMC’s Clinical Research Center and director of nursing for the Department of Women and Infants.

Tina Magers has over 32 years of experience as an RN in roles ranging from a critical care nurse to nursing instructor. The last twelve years Tina has worked in nursing professional development in a community based acute care hospital. She currently is board certified in nursing professional development, holds a master’s in nursing, and has a graduate certificate in evidence-based practice. She enjoys her roles at Baptist Health Systems in Jackson, MS as Coordinator of Nursing Professional Development and Nursing Research and delights in opportunities to mentor others in evidence-based practice. She leads the journey to excellence for Magnet® designation at her hospital in the new knowledge, innovation and improvement components.
Tina is continuing her love of learning as a Ph.D. candidate in the William Carey University School of Nursing.
Professional Development Nurse SpecialistNationwide Children’s Hospital
Cathleen is a Professional Development Nurse Specialist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She has been a nurse for 32 years and held staff development and faculty positions for 25 years. Cathleen has a passion for both teaching and mentoring in her role as EBP Coordinator. She is completing requirements for a Doctorate of Nursing Practice at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Kathleen Williamson is currently the Chair at the Wilson School of Nursing at Midwestern State University. She has published many articles and chapters on the EBP process, implementation, and outcomes. Dr. Williamson continues to promote EBP with healthcare professionals and educators through community partnerships, workshops, conferences, and educational coursework. She has over 25 years combined clinical and educational experience as a critical care nurse, home health care nurse, educator, and researcher. She works on advancing EBP through innovations in technology. She continues to work with healthcare practitioners in order to sustained EBP in systems, organizations, and educational agencies.
